  1. New Models From Hargrave Custom Yachts
The custom in Hargrave Custom Yachts is really the essence of the company's build process. While there may be a general common theme to some of their builds, quite a bit is left to the owner to leave their stamp on the build. Recently this yard released some new models of which one was quietly launched and completed last year. The new series of vessels are simply called the Hargrave B, Hargrave E and F. A 35.5-meter unit from the B series was completed as "Hyperion" last year.
  2. Moving on in the series the next yacht that you will see launch this year is the first hull of the E Series. That hull hopefully should be completed by October of this year. Another hull in the E series is also under construction but that is further back in the process and should see completion in 2023. As for design, Hargrave's inhouse team did the exteriors while Jack Sarin worked on the Naval Architecture.
  3. It should be worth noting that Hargrave Custom Yachts may be based in the United States but it has yards in a other places, specifically Taiwan and Turkey, where they build these yachts. The previous yacht mentioned -Hyperion- was built at the yard in Turkey. One of the other E series yachts in build was being constructed for a client initially and then had it made available for sale because he wanted a bigger yacht. It is believed she is going to be powered by CAT C32s each with 1,900 horse power each to release a 21.5-knot top end. The range is 800 nautical miles while fast cruising at 18-knots while at 11-knots the range increases to 1,200 nautical miles.
  4. Onboard this new yacht you should find a layout for up to ten (10) guests in five (5) cabins. The vessel will sit right below the 300 GT threshold at 299 GT which allows less red-tape with the U.S Coast Guard and U.S flagging. A vessel like this is priced in the region of 17.6 million dollars. The interiors are spacious thanks to the 7.92-meter beam. Also the draft is only 6-feet approximately which allows for shallow-water cruising in places like the Bahamas.
  5. While construction of the other members in this new series is of GRP, the F Series is set to be built from all-aluminum. The exterior design is also going to be a bit different but still utilizing similar lines. Regardless, all three models are going to be highly customizable for owners. The F Series will be made from aluminum as standard but will also be available to be built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure should an owner require this.
  6. Regardless of which model from the new series an owner choose for their yacht, there is style, luxury, spaciousness and the ability to customize your craft. The first of these yachts named Hyperion share similar design work with the exterior by Hargrave Custom Yachts while the Naval Architecture is by Jack Sarin and the interior by Yacht Interiors by Shelley. This year we should see at least one unit from the E series being completed.
