For MagBay Yachts the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) (October 30th Nov 3rd) will be exciting for them. At least that is the plan for when they make available the 2019 MagBay 42 Express. The yard has showcased that this craft can be available in different configurations. On their website they suggest an open version, hard top, sportfishing and a few other variants in between.

The Open version still permits fishing onboard with rod holders in the gunwales and gives the option for a well-spec'd fighting chair. The sport fishing version is a bit more equipped with main rods, rod holders on the aft superstructure and the same fighting chair as well with additional gunwale holders. There is also provision for bait wells/fish tank in the transom. A transom door is also integrated to help with fish catches.

LOA on the 42 Express is 42.3-feet long with an overall beam 15.9-feet. The displacement of the boat is around 42,000 lbs and the hull offers a deadrise of 18 degrees at the transom. Not to forget, there is room below deck on either of the configurations. MagBay will more than likely be releasing more information on the 42 Express leading up to FLIBS or at the event as it will be the world premier for the model.
