News: Lurssen Delivers 156M Superyacht "Dilbar"

156-meter "Dilbar" Leaves Lurssen on Delivery

The massive 156-meter (515-foot) superyacht "Dilbar" has now left her birth yard of Lurssen enroute to her first port of call, expected to be Tangier, Morocco. This is where she is to be handed over to her owner. She was built under the project name Omar and is believed to be owned by the same owner of the former 'Dilbar' which is now ("Ona"). The design is by Espen Oeino with an interior by Andrew Winch Designs.

This yacht is massive rising an impressive 7-plus decks above the waterline. Her hull built in steel and superstructure in aluminium she still weighs in a world-contending 15,500 GT. Lurssen is known for building custom and very secretive projects. This is definitely one of them as much was not known of her existence. Even when she was revealed, Lurssen and everyone surrounding the project were like a child's diary with a lock on it. This yard reportedly has a 120-meter project in build for delivery next year. Just last year, they delivered a 125-meter project we now know as the new "Golden Odyssey".
