A new 33.5-meter series has emerged from Turkish builder KRC Yachts in collaboration with designer Marti Yat. The KRCM 110 series are designed with three models -Exuma Explorer, Rhino III and T-Rex-. The models are not just concepts, they are ready to be built and the yard suggests that one of the models can be built in 24 months from signing. Steel has been chosen as the material for the hull while aluminum is for the superstructure.

The yachts are to be under the 300 GT mark and be designed for exploration type missions. Regardless of which variant it is they will be equipped with MAN engines. Each engine will be approximately 800 horse power allowing for a top speed of 14-knots and slower cruising speeds permit as much as 4,000 nautical mile range. The bows are slightly different between the three variants. The Exuma Explorer has the closest to a conventional trawler bow while the T-Rex has a straight bow just above the waterline and the Rhino III has a reverse bow above the waterline.

The master suite on all three appears to be placed on the forward deck all with the possibility of having a fold-down balcony off the master. Fold-out terraces are also incorporated in the bulwarks outside of the main salon and aft cockpit areas. The remainder of the guest accommodation will be on the lower deck. Guest al-fresco spaces are prioritized on the series where tender storage is reserved for the upper aft deck where an Opacmare crane is in place to facilitate deployment and retrieval of the tender and toys. Up front on the fore deck, guests can find semi-private alcove and layout areas. Don't forget there is also a sundeck partially covered by a hardtop.
