Johnson Flagship 112-footer Launches In Taiwan

Johnson Yachts recently launched their flagship Johnson 112. The all-GRP made luxury yacht showcases design by Dixon Yacht Design. The 34-meter yacht was launched in Taiwan at the yard's Kaohsiung facility and is expected to be handed over to her owner in early 2018. A top speed of 23-knots should be realized with her pair of CAT 1,925 horse power engines. The speed will be confirmed once sea trials have been completed.

Onboard, the yacht has three decks. Accommodation is for as many as twelve (12) guests in six cabins. The largest rooms are the master suite and VIP suite, the other guest cabins are on the lower deck. Lodging for four crew members is also provided. The sun deck is quite large for a 34-meter boat and more than half of it is comfortably covered by a hardtop. Aft of the hardtop is open deck space, likely to be used for tender storage judging by the lifting davit installed there.

The yacht has been built for an American owner who is expected to take delivery of the vessel in January. There is an extended swim platform on the transom which is enclosed with bulwarks making the area ideal for sport fishing. Her principle dimensions include an LOA of 34-meters, an overall beam of 7.20-meters and a shallow draft that only draws 1.86-meters.
