Second Long Island 85 Delivered To Owners​

YF can tell you that the second unit in the Long Island 85 series has been delivered and the final name is "NDS Evolution". What has everyone buzzing is that this brand new vessel is about to take on a circumnavigation of the globe. JFA even has a video showing the planned route. NDS Evolution was launched in the last quarter of 2017 and has finally been delivered.

The 26.25-meter luxury sailing catamaran has a design by Marc Lombard with an interior by Darnet Design. The timbers of choice on the interior include Oak and Walnut. Accommodation includes two doubles, two twins and the master suite on the forward main deck fit to sleep up to nine if necessary. A cool feature is on the flybridge. From the photos it isn't apparent but the space can be closed off by removable isinglass which allows the space to be still usable in colder temperatures and in warmer weather they can be removed. The lightweight vessel was built with aluminium hulls and composite superstructure resulting in a 56 tonne displacement. She is said to have achieved six knots out of a five knot wind on trials.
