A new project has been signed by French builder JFA. It is from their 'Long Island' series... which essentially are sailing catamarans. This one is a power cat and is just under 80-feet long. As a catamaran the twin hulls will give the sub-100-foot yacht plenty of room from the main deck up. The beam is around 36-feet (11.17-meters). Marc Lombard is onboard once again on the exterior design. On the interior, Franck Darnet penned the light and airy interior that focuses on light and contrasting dark timbers.

Five cabins are onboard for the owner and guest to have night lodging. The left hull (port side) will house the master suite and a guest cabin while the starboard hull will keep the three other guest cabins. The main navigation area is actually on the flybridge to the front offering perfect views for safe passage as well as enjoying the surrounding scenery.

Power is expected to come via a pair of 500 horse power diesel engine. They will run the boat up to 15-knots and cruise between 11 and 12-knots. It is unclear what the range on this power cat will be at this stage. Currently, the yard is working on the second 'Long Island' 85 sailing catamaran which launched late last year and is pretty much ready for delivery.
