The first hull of the Lexus LY650 model has been completed and made its international debut at the 2019 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The vessel has been highly anticipated and with Lexus's partnership with Marquis Yachts to build the vessel and Nuvolari & Lenard to design the interior of the yacht, the finished product came together quite nicely. The point was to expand Lexus' reach from land to water and convey their brand of luxury from automotive to yacht. Nuvolari & Lenard created an interior that best maximized the space available within the limitations of a 65-foot yacht.

Many curves and soft angles exist throughout the yacht and are off-set with furniture pieces. The colour scheme onboard is carried out by creme leathers, dark-toned timbers and taupe tones. Principle timbers used onboard include Dark lacquered Walnut and Frisée Eucalyptus. These are paired with sumptuous stonework. Dark Emperador Marble and Creme Marfil Marble were used.

The master suite is an open space with the bed oriented from the side. The purposeful decision to put the bed on one side creates a more spacious feel and breaks up the typical master suite lay-out. Huge glazing on either side allow a wealth of natural lighting into the space too. The other side of the room features an art-piece for a sofa which is next to a desk and accompanying ottoman. There are more hulls in production at present for buyers who want to purchase a piece of automotive-yachting inspiration.
