Nordhavn Launches Hull 6841 For British Owners

Yesterday, Nordhavn announced the launching of their latest hull in the N68 line, hull N6841. After rolling out of the shed at Ta-Shing and then being transported on the road to the quay for launch, the vessel successfully made it into the water. The vessel is destined for British owners and as a result the yacht will head to Southampton at Nordhavn Europe for commissioning before delivery to her owners.

The vessel rises three decks with an aft pilothouse arrangement. It is finished in the typical Nordhavn production colours. There is also no indication on what the name will be. Hull 6841 has the square-arch mast which likely means a soft top bimini will be installed just in front of it similar to what other N68s have. You can install a hardtop but that is typically seen attached to the single-mast arrangement on the N68.

We do not have any specs for this particular boat as yet but if you go by the standard specs of the N68 it should be in the 200,000 lbs displacement. There is just under 12,000 LT of fuel along with 2,548 LT of fresh water that can be stored. The N68 is exactly 68-feet long with a beam of 20.4-feet. The draft is only 7.2-feet as well allowing for access to most areas. Being aft pilothouse the fore deck is for tender storage which can easily handle a main rib and smaller rib or main and a couple PWCs. The interior is likely finished in a three-cabin layout with a Master suite and two guest cabins.
