  1. X-Treme 105 Unveiled By Holterman Shipyard
Dutch yard Holterman Shipyard has released information on one of their latest projects, the X-Treme 105 (32-meter). One of the main design features to this yacht relates to the aft main deck which is where alot of the work on this yacht will happen. There is a tender receptacle that allows wet-launching and will accept a RIB tender as large as 10-meters. Once the tender is launched the area can become a large swimming pool which has a variable-depth bottom. There is a smaller tender garage in the hull that has side-loading orientation suitable for a tender up to 3.45-meters. Two jet skis can also be stored in this space along with other water-toys.
  2. The design is one that showcases a robust exterior and stylish interior that allows for an exclusive experience suitable for a yacht of this caliber. Guests will likely enjoy their time aboard the Holterman X-Treme 105 as the yacht has its internal volume across two main decks and a raised pilot-house integration. Guest accommodation is for ten guests as the yard suggests four double cabins on the lower deck and a master suite on the forward main deck.
  3. With the aft main deck largely a utilitarian space, the sun deck is packed with the lounging ability that guests expect from a luxury yacht -even an explorer oriented type-. Two large sunbeds are built-in on the extreme aft of the deck while loose furniture populate the space just outside of the hardtop. Under the hardtop you will find al-fresco dining and seating and even a small bar. More comfy seating is forward with exterior secondary helm position.
  4. The X-Treme 105 is a sleek looking yacht but she's more than a pretty looking vessel. This 32-meter yacht is packed with technology and with everything being redundant as a standard protocol, reliability is much higher for the client. The essential technical systems are doubled up like for those of the bow thrusters, stern thrusters, stabilizers and watermakers. The two steerable nozzles not only make the ship silent, but also makes the ship more maneuverable. Power is by two Volvo engines 2x 551/750 Kw/HP and top speed is pegged to be 15-knots with cruising at 10-knots. The range should be 2,400 nautical miles at 10-knots.
  5. Revisiting the aft main deck again, remember the pool/main-tender storage has a movable floor. This allows for the area to be completely flush when not in use. You can see a glimpse of this in the image below where the forward end of the receptacle is full-flush with the rest of the deck. It gives a smooth transition to the social cockpit space forward and into the salon.
  6. If you never heard of the X-Treme brand of yachts from Holterman Shipyard then here is a little more information. For this line of yachts there are three models so far, the smallest being the X-Treme 78 while the middle-child is the X-Treme 90 and the largest is the X-Treme 105. The 105 is available for delivery in Summer of 2021 while the two smaller yachts are 'in-development'.
