  1. "RHAEGAL"; "Hodor's" Custom Skater 438
It is no secret the owner of superyacht "Lonian" and its support yacht "Hodor" love Game of Thrones -the names of those two vessels squarely suggests this-. However, even down to the some of the toys the support vessel carries, push the G.O.T theme. One of the latest toys to be lifted aboard is a inboard powered Skater Powerboats 438. That is a powerful model all by itself however, it is the impressively wild paintjob that has everyone's collective heads turned.
  2. A paint job that was said to have taken 4 months or more than 1,500 man hours to complete. The one-of-a-kind paint job is the work of Mark Morris and his team at Visual Imagination. In fact, this is not their only project down for Hodor's owner. The Nor-tech 560 S, a previous slightly smaller Skater 388 and a Cigarette Racing Team 42X have all been 'imagined' and painted by Visual Imagination. The Skater Powerboats 438 is called "RHAEGAL" presumably after one of the fire-breathing dragons in the G.O.T television series.
  3. RHAEGAL although she is a performance vessel in her right with her Mercury Racing 1550/1350 engines. However, it is her stunning paint job that likely captures the attention of most. The team at Visual Imagination visualized having a 'whole dragon' being the catamaran powerboat rather than a depiction of a dragon along the sides of the boat. The powerboat is the dragon! As such they used from the eye downwards as the focal point including part of the wings within the design.
  4. The 43-foot vessel has 6 seats in the cabin with full wrap-around windshield to protect the occupants from the wind and any spray that may make its way over the bow. The vessels can carry close to 500 to 600 gallons of fuel. Construction is Vacuum bagged S-glass/Kevlar/carbon composite with aircraft grade balsa core sandwich and epoxy resin.
