  1. Hinckley 35 - Outboard Power!
Approximately 12 years ago Hinckley Yachts was introducing the Hinckley 34. Fast forward to just after mid-2021 and the company delivered the first Hinckley 35. The 35 is an outboard beast for dayboaters and weekenders. Michael Peters penned the hull which was crafted for the full look and appeal of a Hinckley, yet be its own distinctive creation. This resulted in a family-oriented, outboard powered vessel that combines exhilarating performance with the highly refined beauty, craftsmanship and quality Hinckley is known for around the world.
  2. "This new model is a true Hinckley in every respect," said Scott Bryant, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hinckley Yachts. "She was designed from Day #1 as an outboard-powered craft, with an optimized hull shape and chines and strakes designed to provide added lift and stability," added Bryant. Powered by twin Mercury Verado or Yamaha outboards, the Hinckley 35 can reach top speeds of 48 mph, while still delivering the solid ride and confident feeling of control that are hallmarks of the brand. The Michael Peters Design was constructed with Infused Carbon Epoxy construction, creating a single chemical bond between hull and support structures from bow to stern.
  3. One of the major differences between the Hinckley 35 and the 34 and even any other Hinckley model is the raising of the glazing technology. The glass on the front of the 35 is a perfect single piece of curved uninterrupted vision-aiding glass and not several pane pieces like before. The yard calls it 'The ClearView' single-pane windshield — a new Hinckley innovation — .
  4. In terms of Performance the Hinckley 35 can reach 48mph and her standard engine package is either twin 300 horse power Mercury Verados or equivalent Yamahas. Optionally power can be twin 350 horse power. The range is 300 plus miles at 35 mph. A few other options around the boat can be thrown in if the owner wants teak-decking or a Seakeeper gyrostabilzer onboard.
  5. Onboard there is a single cabin. Below deck, the Hinckley 35’s comfortable teak-and-holly appointed cabin invites friends and family to enjoy a cool drink, take a break or even grab a quick nap on the comfortable V-Berth. The V-berth is forward of the general kitchenette space which in itself is well appointed for those day-long times on the water as well as overnighters. The side windows are pretty much small portlights but natural light enters mainly from above the bed via a clear hatch. The head is on the other side from the kitchenette area. The Hinckley 35 is the perfect boat for large lakes or coastal runs dropping anchor in a secluded corner surrounded by timeless Hinckley nostalgia as your boat while still offering all the modern-day conveniences.
