Heesen has announced the delivery of "Solemates", the 55-meter known under construction as Project 'Castor' or YN 19055. The design by Omega Architects, on the outside will look familiar being family to yachts like "Vida", "Laurentia" and "Azamanta". Internally the 760 GT volume Solemates has been penned by Bannenberg & Rowell.

There are six cabins available for up to twelve guests which are divided between a VIP berth on the upper deck, a full-beam master suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. For flexibility, two of these guest cabins have rail-mounted beds allowing quick conversion from doubles to singles, perfect for charter. In fact, this yacht will be available for charter in the Eastern Mediterranean. The master suite offers separate his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, and a bathroom with both shower and bathtub all complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows on either side. Heesen says that even though she has a similar design to previous builds, the layout of different to them designed to accentuate her higher internal volume.

Two 1,000 Kw MTU engines power the new Solemates to a top speed of 15.5-knots. At continuous 12-knots she can attain a 4,500 nautical mile span. On her two-day pre-delivery sea trial, Solemates exceeded her contract speed and range. With tender storage on the bow, the stern was made available for a beach club facility for charter guests to relax right next to the water.
