First Nordhavn N96 Hull Arrives In Port Everglades

The first hull in the new Nordhavn N96 arrived in Florida and was offloaded today after her long journey from China. Hull 11 will be moved from the offload point in Port Everglades to the Nordhavn commissioning dock in North Palm Beach. Nordhavn says she arrived with two other models from their in-production portfolio; the Nordhavn 60 and Nordhavn 68. Delivery of the first N96 is scheduled for March 2016.

"We are extremely excited about the new Nordhavn 96. She's an elegant, capable superyacht with world-class craftsmanship and features, serving as the ideal stepping stone between a large cruiser and superyacht. She's exceeded our expectations and will certainly impress anyone who climbs aboard," said Project Manager Trever Smith.

There is no final name as of yet, but we will know soon enough. A striking grey hull with a classic white superstructure adorns hull 11 for an overall smart appearance. The new N96 model sits well between Nordhavan N120 and the N86 and is a great step-up solution for former N86 owners. Sitting primarily on three internal decks with an open flybridge deck the N96 is a spacious yacht coming in under the 100-foot LOA mark. As a Nordhavn, she will benefit from long range cruising capabilities. She should be able to run 4,000 nautical miles before the need of refueling.
