First Nordhavn 475 Arrives Stateside

The first N475 by trawler manufacturer Nordhavn has arrived at Dana Point. The N475 is now officially part of the diverse lineup from Nordhavn and will be familiar to those accustom to Nordhavns, specifically on the smaller end of the scale. Being based on the Nordhavn N43, her deck is completely new and includes a huge cockpit area.

The LOA is 47.6-feet with a beam of 14.10-feet and the draft is 5.3-feet. Total fuel capacity is 4,542.5 liters. At this stage we do not know what the range is with the fuel capacity. The engine choice was a John Deere 4045AFM85 M2 180 horse power linked to one four-bladed bronze propeller. Other figures still have to be announced like the top speed of the vessel but knowing Nordhavn's they are designed to sip fuel and travel long distances.

The Nordhavn N475 essentially replaces both the N40 and N43 models. In terms of accommodation there are three cabins onboard for guest berthing. There is a master suite for the owner or principal guests which is generous in size. It stretches nearly 15-feet wide and offers a queen-sized berth. There is a twin and a single ready to sleep another three.
