  1. Glimpse Hull 1 Of The Archipelago 47 Model
Archipelago Yachts first hull in their Archipelago range of vessels is completed and has taken to sea. The yard describes this vessel as an ocean-capable cat with a 3,000 nautical mile range when needed. It prides itself on being able to bridge the gap between performance, range and luxury accommodation in a compact form factor. Even though the vessel measures in at under 50-feet, there is decent space onboard thanks to its catamaran hulled platform.
  2. A vessel this size typically will be made in GRP materials but the hulls are manufactured from aluminium on this build. The Archipelago 47 should be able to reach a maximum speed of 30-knots if challenged but it is most comfortable running in the low-to-mid 20-knot range. From the exterior the yacht looks rugged and fit for a bit of an adventure with its angular lines and roof rack ready to tie-down kayaks and the like.
  3. On the interior though the vessel is ready to sleep as many as eight (8) guests onboard in four (4) cabins split between the two hulls. Most will perhaps opt for a 2 or 3 cabin layout. The images show hull 1 of the range but the interior offers a highly flexible design with customization as standard. With a length of 14.5-meters and a comfortable beam of 6.5-meters the space on offer for guests is decent. This yacht was launched in early September and made its first appearance at the Southampton Boat Show.
