Franchini Launches MIA 63 Into The Water

News from Italian yard Franchini is that they have launched their MIA 63 build into the water. Via a travel lift, the new vessel transitioned from its land-based construction phases into the water for the first time. With a design by Massimo Franchini you can purchase this yacht with a number of variations to the top of the vessel. That is, the vessel can be designed to carry a T-top, be open, have a hardtop, Sports Fly or a bimini top.

Three double cabins will ensure that a maximum of six can sleep overnight. One of them is a master suite which is large enough to have a walk-in closet/dressing area. There is also a VIP room which is offered in similar prestige to the master suite and the other is a smaller double cabin. A single small crew cabin is available as well.

Power comes via two 745 horse power Volvo Penta with IPS 900 engines delivering a speed just over 27-knots. Maneuverability will be great with both units being fully steerable. Mia Franchini, the daughter of Massimo Franchini broke the champagne bottle at christening. Perhaps this is the reason for the name of the model, MIA 63.
