News: Feadship Delivers 87M "Lonian"

Dutch yard Feadship might not have made an official announcement as yet on the delivery of their 87-meter superyacht "Lonian" but she has left the yard and recently turned up in Gibraltar. Lonian was built as hull 700 and launched in early July. Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design is responsible for her exterior design and her conventional yet striking flag blue hull stands out with a polished "V" design plate midships. The interior was a collaboration between Sinot and Richard Hallberg Interior Design.

Mid-year seems to be the time period for important milestones for this yacht. The unfinished hull and superstructure of Lonian was launched from Scheepswerft SLOB in June of 2017. Almost exactly one year later in July 2018, she was launched from the Feadship facilities in Aalsmeer. Lonian represents the second largest superyacht to be delivered by Feadship this year, second behind the 110-meter "Anna". Now that she is delivered she is now officially the 83rd largest yacht in the world.

This private superyacht features accommodation for twelve guests. Expansive guest spaces exist all over the yacht's five-deck spread. The vessel's main pool is situated on the aft main deck and is designed to be a central and integral space for guest enjoyment and relaxation. The pool is flanked by cabana structures instead of the more traditional sunpads. A helipad is available on the upper aft deck for quick touch-and-go operations. Even at delivery stage we still do not know much more about this striking new Feadship. She is 87-meters long with an impressive beam of 13.80-meters.
