  1. Fairline Yachts Now In Administration
Fairline Yachts located in the UK has been a name well-known in the industry to a while. The company was just recently sold to its newest investors. As recent as December 4th, 2024 the company was sold to Arrowbolt Propulsion Systems who acquired more than 75% of Fairline's shares and voting rights etc. Hanover Investors sold its stake in Fairline in December, 2024 allowing Arrowbolt Propulsion Systems to come in.
  2. Administrator Alvarez & Marsal said Fairline Yachts, which was founded in 1967 and is based in Oundle, Northamptonshire, would continue to trade as normal, with no immediate redundancies expected. Although when the new entity (Arrowbolt) took over as many as 100 jobs were made redundant. "We are actively pursuing a sale of the business and are confident of a substantial amount of interest given the recognized brand and strong heritage", said the administrator.
  3. Arrowbolt is part of UK-based division of Fletcher Marine Group that specializes in electric propulsion technology. As part of the new changes they had appointed experienced executive Peter Hamlyn as Fairline’s new Chief Executive. The real questions that are being asked are why so soon after the takeover Fairline has gone into administration. This potentially suggests financial issues immediately. Also was there proper due-diligence exercised on the stability of the new entity that took over Fairline. Hanover Investors represented the third investor in 5 years for Fairline.
