Something new from Crescent Yachts has hit the water. She is a 37-meter luxury yacht called "Maximus III". In 2024 YF published an article on this yacht while it was under construction in its advanced stages of build. https://www.yachtforums.com/threads/news-crescent-custom-yachts-37m-maximus-iii.38620/ The new yacht has been launched and is in the water and already commenced sea trials for delivery to the owner sometime later in 2025.

The new Maximus yacht is for a repeat client of the yard and is expected to stay on the West Coast of the United States with the owner. Construction is in aluminium and bears the design work of Gregory C Marshall. The yard has built at least 2 other yachts for this particular client. The latest incarnation has been tailor-made for the owner's West Coast lifestyle. Prominently seen on the transom of the vessel in the renders was provision for sports fishing.

Onboard there is accommodation for guests in 5 cabins with the owner having their 'Sky Suite' on the upper deck, which is a tad unusual on this size yacht. The remaining cabins for guests on the yacht include a VIP-level suite on the main deck as well as another VIP-grade suite and two other cabins on the lower deck. With the owner being big on family-oriented entertaining, the yacht features a 'Californian-Galley' which permits guests to be able to socialize while in the galley with additional bar and settee seating in the area.

Despite being owner-friendly in its layout and presentation, they still intend to engage the yacht in the charter market. As a result, the yacht will be available for charters in the Pacific Northwest and Alaskan regions in the Summer season but for the Winter the yacht will head much further south towards Mexican waters. The yacht's tender will be stored on the aft upper deck and on the aft sun deck there will be a large jacuzzi.
