  1. Open Sport Version Of 52MC Announced By Contest Yachts
The Open Sport version of the Contest 52MC has been announced. It is aimed straight at a specific market for those owners who want a luxury day boat or even for owners of superyachts who are looking for a high-end tender or even a chase boat. A great feature onboard is the practical nature of getting around the boat at rest or even underway. The deck is fully walk around thanks to deep bulwarks on the hull sides and moving the structure inward to create the small walk way. This is much safer than having to make your way along the outside of the vessel to get to the bow or stern.
  2. The Open Sport will come in three versions actually. The basic hull form stays the same but the differences are with the windshield and the hard top. The OPEN SPORT has the longsided wraparound glass, the OPEN SPORT CLASSIC has the shortsided windscreen, a throwback to the sixties era and there is the OPEN SPORT T-Top which would cover most of the cockpit area.
  3. All the action doesn't just happen ondeck, there is a lower deck where the accommodation is situated. The accommodation is suited to the owner's preference in terms of layout and materials utilized and finishing. There is a choice between three cabins and two heads or two cabins, two heads and lower deck galley. The level of detailing and technical installation far exceeds the sector standards and Contest’s extensive experience in vacuum infused, sandwich, composite construction and long alliance with acoustic specialist Van Capellen, delivers a very quiet running boat, freed of noise and vibration. In terms of performance, the craft will be fitted with dual Cummins 550 horse power diesel engines.
