  1. Columbus Yachts Atlantique Range Grows With Two More Models
Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts has announced the addition of two more models to their Atlantique Range of yachts. The two models are 37-meters and 55-meters respectively. The Atlantique line has placed emphasis on outdoor living and one of the major regions to take this idea above the rest is the aft beach area which has several zones to choose from for relaxation. Back in April, the yard announced the Atlantique range with the introduction of the Atlantique 43. Now, they have recently added the Atlantique 37 and the Atlantique 55.
  2. The yachts all have design by Hot Lab which gives them a different look to the usual. One of the interesting aspects of these yachts is the stern where the inspiration seems to be taken from the sailing yacht world. By this we mean the stern area is reminiscent of the sugarscoop stern of sailboats. Like on the 43, the aft bulwarks drop down to increase the social beach club space on the stern.
  3. The Atlantique 37 is compact (under 300GT) and combines sporty lines with refined interiors. Below deck, the layout includes four (4) double cabins with en-suite, while the owner's cabin is on the main deck forward. There are two dining areas, one outdoor on the main deck and the other one on the upper deck to cater for up to 10 people. The peculiarity of the latter is the large rounded windows, moving up/down and horizontally, which can be closed or opened as needed to emphasize the constant connection with the sea.
  4. The Atlantique 55 is the largest of the range so far and has an internal volume of 900 GT and a four-deck layout. She will be built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Two layout options for the maindeck are available and this affects the number of guests that can be carried depending which one is chosen by the owner. It appears there can be a five or six cabin layout on the Atlantique 55. Both layouts see the owner cabin forward: the first version has a Gym with private balcony, whereas the second one has a fifth (5th) VIP cabin and a private balcony in the owner cabin. Below deck we find four (4) double cabins with en-suite. The 13-member staff are accommodated in seven cabin.
  5. Comparing the 55 to the 37 there is a distinct change in the colour palette especially regarding the finishes and stains. The main deck on the 37 has more of a teak feel to it while the 55 is more subdued and masculine as can be seen in the below rendering. Either way the owner is going to get a sumptuous and luxurious atmosphere on deck as well as the interior spaces.
