  1. Explorer Yacht "RJ" Launches At CdM
The latest yacht to launch from the facilities of Canteire Delle Marche is called "RJ", a 40-meter RJ130. The RJ is really the first in a new line from this builder with a couple other models in the works. The RJ115-28 and the RJ115-29 are two other planned models. As you can see in the following photos, the yacht has already been placed in the water. The design is by Francesco Paszkowski both inside and out with Naval Architecture by Hydro Tec.
  2. At 9-knots this explorer styled yacht ran roam for up to 5,500 nautical miles. If you need to travel faster RJ can muster a top speed of 14.5-knots. This wide-ranging capability is possible by her pair of MTU 10V 2000 M72 engines. While RJ may not look like an explorer yacht from her exterior styling, this is what CdM does well, blending a modern exterior aesthetic while still delivering the functionality needed in the segment. RJ was built in both steel and aluminium, naturally you can guess that the hull is made of steel and the superstructure aluminium.
  3. Onboard there are five suites for the guests and owner which account for lodging of twelve persons. That suggests two rooms have pullman berths. There is accommodation for up to seven crew members in four crew cabins. RJ is a three-deck yacht with a full-sized sun-deck for guests. A substantial hardtop shades just over half of the sundeck -the forward portion- while the aft is in the open but there are likely stanchions to attach a removable sun awning too. With the majority of her interior already fully outfitted RJ should not take very long to deliver to her owner after the requisite sea trials are conducted.
