  1. New Bering 115 Explorer Unveiled By Bering Yachts
Bering Yachts is upping the ante on their rugged explorer yachts. Not only is the design being refined and evolving but they are becoming larger too! The company recently released renderings for a 115-meter explorer, that’s a 35-meter design. The yacht has three internal decks for guests and owner alike and a lovely open-air sun deck. The sundeck has an interesting layout with the Jacuzzi set aft on the deck and flanked by a large curved built-in sofa. Tables are nearby to rest you cocktails or book on and there is space to stretch-out a couple sun-loungers as well. The forward part of the sundeck is situated under the hardtop and is full shaded and built-in sofas and sizable table encourage guests to mingle and take in vistas over the forward portion of the yacht.
  2. The bridge deck below is a full walk-around and secured by fairly high bulwarks. On the aft deck is where the vessel’s tenders are intended to be stored and easily served by a dedicated davit. The main deck is where the main salon and accommodations start and the lower deck takes in the rest of the guest and crew accommodation. Sabdes Yacht Design in conjunction with Bering Yachts penned the handsome lines of the Bering 115 Explorer and while a final interior conceptualization for an owner hasn’t been shown as the yacht isn’t sold, there is significant interest in the yacht’s design.
  3. As for the guest accommodation, the standard layout is expected to provide for ten or more guests if needed. The master stateroom is envisioned to be palatial as per the yacht’s size and is designed to be on the forward main deck. Views outward should be fairly decent with those near floor to ceiling vertical windows. The yacht is the perfect globe-trotting platform for an owner giving them the space to have a luxurious feel while retaining the attributes of a rugged explorer. The high bow is purposeful because where she is intended to go, she will need it! At her economical cruising speeds, the Bering Yachts 115 Explorer is expected to sail over 8,000 nautical miles easily from her 15,000 GAL tanks. Hopefully an owner takes up this wonderful design so it can come off the paper boards and into reality.
