Benetti Unveils New B.Yond 55 At MYS

Benetti has continued to make updates and announcements at the ongoing Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). One of the latest updates from the yard is a new addition to their B.Yond 55. Before, the offering from the B.Yond line was the B.Yond 37 and the B.Yond Limited Edition. The extra length of the 55-meter now has brought the model more balance. Before the B.Yond models looked top-heavy design wise.

The intention was to design a vessel that had smooth and rounded features akin to automotive design. The lower deck also takes advantage of the use of serigraphy to help hides the existence of the windows in the hull. This is a feature we are seeing used more and more. There are five decks available for guests to experience on the B.Yond 55 model with a mixture of built-ins and movable furniture on the aft decks.

Like many smaller yachts the B.Yond 55 will come with a Oasis-style transom that is open and can be opened further via folding bulwarks. The B.Yond 55 offers more sculptural value in design thanks to the floating penwork of Lobanov. There has been little information by way of specs regarding the B.Yond 55 at the Press Conference event in Monaco. Compare the 55-meter design with the 37-meter's design below.
