German Client Buys 63-meter Benetti Project 'Balance'

A German client has bought the already-under construction 63-meter Benetti superyacht Project 'Balance'. It is under construction as hull FB276 and being built to a design by Giorgio M Cassetta. Since the steel hull arrived in Livorno the build has progressed and now that she has a new owner, a few elements to the design have changed. The most notable change has been made to the highest deck where the mast is affixed. The owner has added a small room accessible by a curved stairway from the aft and it will have sliding door access to the front providing a small look-out area.

Other than the extra enclosed space added, the exterior largely remains unchanged. The delivery date is now pushed back from the original 2018 period to March 2019. The interior is being formalized by Bannenberg & Rowell and they are presenting a contemporary internal experience for the owner. Benetti's General Manager, Christos Ramnialis commented: “We are very proud of the recent sale of the FB276 to an owner from Germany, which is an extremely important strategic market for us.”
