  1. Ocean Eco 78 Electric By ALVA Yachts
ALVA Yachts is now expanding their Ocean Eco range a bit more with the announcement of the Ocean Eco 78 Electric. If you have followed this German brand before you may be familiar with their Ocean Eco 60 and 90 models. As you can tell, the 78 sits between these two other models. Benefitting from an electric drive train, solar power integration that provides power from the sun to the battery banks results in a smooth and quiet operation and almost limitless range as long as the sun is adequate.
  2. The yard suggests the benefits of the Ocean Eco 78 for a prospective owner. "The new Ocean Eco 78 was created as the perfect addition to our existing range, and sits between the Ocean Eco 60 and 90 models providing owners with a generous increase in size from the 60 but removing the need for crew on the 90. This new model offers everything the 60 does but on a larger scale." For propulsion, the Ocean Eco 78 Electric is powered by dual 217 KW electric motors which are then tied to the battery packs.
  3. The hull contains all accommodation for guests which is setup for eight in a master suite, two doubles and a twin. Hull balconies are proposed to jettison from the hull sides on command too. All cabins for guests have their own bathrooms as added convenience. The interior is customizable to a point within a framework of choices. The yard suggests that an owner can choose from Mountain, Forest, Desert, Dune, and Sea themes. Each theme would naturally govern the textures, colors and materials of what is utilized in the respective instance.
