Silver Yachts Launch 36-meter "SpaceCat"

The 36-meter "SpaceCat" that was under construction at Silver Yachts has been launched. The SpaceCat 36 is the first Cat model to be completed by Silver Yachts and this one is appropriately named "SpaceCat" and was sold to an Asian customer while it was in build. https://www.yachtforums.com/threads...-sold-to-be-named-spacecat.36150/#post-330688 . The SpaceCat model is also supposed to be available in 24-meter and 22-meter versions.

The new power catamaran is already in the water and conducting sea trials in order to be delivered to her owner by August. The design is by Espen Oeino with a Paulina Exclusive interior. The interior will be home to up to twelve guests sleeping in its five cabins. Construction was made in aluminum and as a catamaran uses two wide-footprint, low-resistance hulls. Volvo Penta engines are powering this vessel and a top speed of 22-knots can be expected with cruising at 15-knots.
