  1. Second SilverCat 36 Launched; Named "Reduce"
The second hull in the SilverCat 36 model has been launched. The yacht is called "Reduce" and will be prepared for delivery in the coming weeks. In fact, the yacht is anticipated to be delivered by the end of this month. Reduce is expected to make her world debut at the 2024 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The build of this yacht commenced on speculation without an owner aboard.
  2. The design is by Espen Oeino with low-resistance aluminium hulls. The Silver Cat series is the first time the yard has ventured into multi-hull construction but they are now on completing the second hull of the 36-meter line. As is the nature of multi-hull stance, the spatial footprint onboard is substantial featuring a 13.6-meter beam. The exterior deck space alone offers 575 square meters of real estate to guests. The interior is very spacious as well with 300 square meters available to guests...that's roughly 3,300 square feet.
  3. Espen Oeino has been a fixture in the design of this yard's yachts to date including "Rabdan" ex. "Silver", "Silver Fast", "BOLD", "Wanderlust", "Silver Cat". Two doubles, two twins and a master suite account for accommodation of 12 guests onboard. One of the guest cabins has two pullmans accounting for the remaining two guest beds. Two twins, a triple, a double for the captain sleep 8 crew and they all have their own bathroom facilities.
  4. The Silver Cat series has been expanded with the in-build SC22 and there is a 24-meter variant on offer as well. There is a third SilverCat hull in build and is anticipated for completion in October, this is likely the aforementioned smaller and entry-level SC22. With fairly low fuel consumption for a vessel her size, the yacht takes efficiency seriously but when needed the yacht can sprint above 20-knots. Reduce will be showcased at the forthcoming MYS towards the end of September.
