News: 26M AD-241 Motor Yacht To Commence Build

The AD-241 is something new that is in the works and is being pushed to be ready for completion in 2025. Adeo Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior design of the new 26-meter vessel. In fact, they are also responsible for the interior. Construction is ready to commence with the shipyard waiting to be chosen. While the designers exterior work is more known and they do have a 64-meter project currently under construction, it will be their debut in terms of interior work.

Just a pair of unspecified 600 horse power engines will run the vessel. Top speed is anticipated to be 15-knots with cruising at at 12-knots. Given her relative small size with a length of just 26-meters, a beam of 6.5-meters and draft of 1.4-meters ensures she has no issues berthing in small marinas or anchoring in shallow areas. Her small size also makes her nimble and utilizing 600 horse power diesels are sufficient.

Onboard there are cabins to sleep eight guests. The owner's suite, a VIP, a double and a twin round out the general accommodation. Meanwhile there are going to be a couple cabins for 4 crew members. The interior design done by Adeo Yacht Design focuses on the natural and neutral side of the colour and tonal palette. Some green is thrown in to spike interest in the interior concept.

On the exterior guests will be able to enjoy numerous al-fresco spaces. The bow is home to built-in seating but the aft most section is for more lounging and relaxing while the foremost area is accompanied by a table allowing for cocktails and light bites. The stern has bench seating and loose furniture. The bulwarks in the area fold down to increase space and sightlines. Small seats and cocktail tables can be used on the fold down bulwarks to enhance the experience.

The sundeck perhaps captures the most space on the exterior. Complemented by a hardtop overhead with openable dressing above the sundeck blends having an outdoor relaxing area into one that can be shaded from the searing sun if needed. The sun deck aboard the AD-241 is home to al-fresco dining, casual social seating, a bar, bench seating, as well as the secondary helm station. Rather than just being a flybridge it is much more substantial given what is available on this deck.
