News: 24M Gentleman's Yacht "Vero" Delivered

YF first introduced this yacht back in 2021 when it was sold. The vessel launched towards the end of 2023 and has since then been completed and delivered and will soon make her way to the owner. It was built as F242 otherwise known as the 24-meter Gentleman's yacht. Now delivered we learn the christened name is "Vero". Both the hull and superstructure were manufactured with Aluminum 5083.

Luca Dini was responsible for the exterior and interior design aspects to the yacht. Naval Architecture was between the yard and NAMES Studio. Onboard you will find a four cabin layout for eight inclusive of the owner along with lodging for 4 crew. The interior volume is approximately 199 GT. Given the exterior of the yacht being modeled after classic and timeless designs from the 1950's and 60's this does not suggest the interior was designed in similar fashion. In fact the interior was last known to have been of modern persuasion.

With the yacht now delivered it will trek from the familiar waters of the Mediterranean and head towards Asia where the owner is based. Vero is classed RINA “C ✠ HULL, ° MACH, SERVICE UNRESTRICTED”. At 24-meters long, a relatively narrow 6.50-meter beam and only 1.40-meter draft Vero is fitted with a SEAKEEPER gyroscopic stabilizer system to help minimize excessive movement when employed.

The yard describes her propulsion being by a pair of MAN D2862LE426 V12 1550 horse power engines. Top speed is approximately 25-knots. 10,000 LT of fuel can be carried aboard and at 9-knots Vero can cruise for 2,100 nautical miles. The yacht carries a single main tender and that is stored on the aft deck and serviced by a concealed crane. The transom wooden facade hides a beach club facility, when folded down to the water a glazed-fronted retreat on the water is revealed.
