  1. News From 2026 Miami Boat Show
The 2026 edition of the Miami Boat Show has been underway for the last few days and as the show for this year winds down today we take a look back at a few of the announcements for new models made during the show. Mangusta unveiled the latest addition to the GranSport line with the GranSport 38. Wally unveiled the WallyPower 50X to the American market. The Concept 4400 Open Series redesign also made a splash at the show. Princess also showcased the X80 model as their largest offering for this year's show
  2. Mangusta revealed the latest model in the GranSport line -the GranSport 38-. The composite 37.58-meter new model will now complete the GranSport offering from the yard. Other models in the GranSport line include the GranSport, 34, 45 and 54 models. The new vessel will be able to sleep guests across a 5 cabin arrangement that has provision for as many as 12 guests if needed. There is also crew berthage for up to 7 in 4 cabins.
  3. Any of Overmarine's Mangusta models are typically focused on performance even the more laid-back cruiser form-factor models. The Mangusta GranSport 38 yacht is ran by four Volvo Penta D13 1,000 horse power engines. These are linked to the IPS pods allowing the vessel to be able to make a top speed of 20-knots and a cruising speed of 18-knots.
  4. New to the American market is the Italian Wally Power 50X which takes the general sportive and performance form we are accustomed to from this builder but pair it with outboard power. The yard showcased hull 2 at the show which takes the upper-end of the power offering using Mercury Racing V8 500s. The standard configuration should be using triple Mercury Verado V10 425s. It is suggested that the standard configuration should be able to run the vessel up to 50-knots with a cruising speed of 34-knots. The V8 500s however, should be boosting the top speed to around 54-knots with a cruising speed of 36-knots but these are preliminary figures.
  5. Concept had an eye-catching blue specimen from their reimagined 44 Open Deck series of super console at the show. It blends open deck space with the comfort of the center console behind the single-piece plexiglass windshield. On the transom it had four Mercury 500R outboards for a total of 2,000 horse power. The builder suggest that the maximum installed power for this boat is 2,500 horse power. The vessels length is 44.4-feet with a beam of 10.9-feet. The redesigned model includes new deck steps for easier access, a redesigned leaning post with a sink and bait prep station, and a forward speaker pod with four 8.8-inch speakers to help lift your sand-bar presence and experience.
  6. Princess was also at the show where they showcased the X80 to the United States audience. Although this was not the first time for the X80 in the U.S having made its American debut in 2023 at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Onboard a typical guest berth arrangement might include four ensuite cabins, a full-beam master stateroom, and accommodation for three crew members. With MAN V12 power onboard the vessel can run at up to 30-knots. The star power of this model is the large enclosed flybridge.
