  1. Superyacht Project 'Y-708' by OceAnco launches

The latest superyacht from Dutch custom superyacht manufacturer OceAnco has been launched. She was known as project 'Y-708' while in build and has been launched to be prepared for sea trials and finish work ahead of her delivery.

OceAnco pulled all information and photos relating to Y-708 from their website possibly indicating confidentiality for the owner. Her nameplates are installed on the sides of the yacht but as expected they are well covered. Her hull is a light grey much like in the renderings produced and features a light blue boot topping.

Some major features onboard the 708 like many of the preceeding OceAnco yachts in the 700 series include a large pool on the aft main deck with cascading steps towards the bathing platform. There isn't outright evidence of a helipad onboard unless the main pool transforms into a touch and go pad like "Alfa Nero" (Y-702).

Other sure details about 708 include Naval Architecture by Azure with distinct exterior design by Igor Lobanov. The interior details are not as clear cut but we do know she has accommodation for as many as fourteen guests in seven suites. A master stateroom, two VIPS and four double suites are available.

On the technical side, 708 carries twin MTU 20V 4000 M73L engines with the anticipated ability to run her to a top speed of 20-knots. With 708 launching so early she surely will be delivered before the end of the year if all goes according to schedule. 708 now represents the second superyacht launched by OceAnco for 2012, the first being '707', christened as "Nirvana".
