Newcastle Marine launches 5500 yacht​

The widely anticipated Newcastle Marine 5500 (55-meter) has been launched. The trans-oceanic motor yacht represents Newcastle Marine's largest yacht to date, stretching about 180-feet long. The new launch is a custom built yacht boasting amenities fitting the owner's whims and fantasies.

The Murray & Associates penned design is expected to weigh in at just over 900 gross tonnes. They also were responsible for the Naval Architecture. The interior styling was fashioned by Claudette Bonville & Associates, Inc. The 55-meter yacht isn't just the largest for Newcastle Marine, she is one of the largest yachts launched in the US in over half a century.

The Newcastle Marine 55-meter will head to the Rybovich Marina and facility to continue the fitting out process. She features a six-cabin layout boasting not one but two Master Stateroooms! There is also a VIP-type cabin and the other three are well appointed guest rooms. She mounts twin CAT 3512B engines capable of creating 15.5-knot top speed. Available is a fuel tankage of 112,103 LT. The yacht now completes a vital phase of its construction and moves on to final details before delivery.
