Jim Smith launches 32-meter sportfish yacht "Marlena"

Jim Smith Tournament Boats has launched their largest boat to date, the 32-meter sportfish yacht "Marlena". If the name sounds familiar it is because the owner has had another large sport fish with the same name. Now the vessel, built as hull 29, is out of the shed it has to be transported to Stuart, Florida waterfront where interior design Elizabeth Dalton will oversee the final detailing of the yacht's interior.

Marlena features a five stateroom layout comfortably sleeping ten guests. Even for a sportfish yacht of 105-feet LOA, her engines will be able to push her to near 40-knot top speed. The average cruising speed will be just under 30-knots. To keep her movement in the water to a minimum she is fitted with a Seakeeper M6000 gyro stabilizer. Once delivered to her owner, Marlena will head up to New York for Summer.
