  1. IAG Yachts launch 38-meter yacht

China based yacht builder IAG has launched a new yacht in the form of their 127-foot model. In fact she is the first yacht to be launched for the company and she is also the first in what is being called the Primadonna series. Built out of FRP, her light weight but rigid construction gives her a half load displacement of around 185 tonnes.

Twin CAT C32 1800 marines engines power her to an expected speed of 20 knots at half load. She has a beam of 8.00-meters and a draught of 2.10-meters. On the inside, she can sleep up to 12 guests pending layout selection. There is also accommodation for 8 crew members.

The IAG 38-meter is classed as follows: RINA, C X HULL ● MACH Ych (MCA), unrestricted navigation. She is currently being finished and tested and will make her debut and appearance at the upcoming 2010 edition of the FLIBS (Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show).
