Oss, Holland -- On February 6, Heesen Yachts launched its first yacht for 2004 -- the 144’ (44 meters) M/Y Bilmar. This yacht is a full aluminum, semi displacement twin screw motor yacht with a flag blue hull. It has 2 X MTU 16V4000 M90 engines and will reach 26 knots.

The interior was designed by Veta Tsoukala along with the owner of the yacht. The exterior was designed by Omega Architects and the Naval Architecture is by the Heesen Yachts Design Team.

Bilmar follows a series of recent prize-winning yachts custom-built by Heesen such as Alumercia (explorer ship), Lady Halima, Sweet Doll, Duke Town, No Escape and Koji.

Heesen Yachts presently has eight projects under construction ranging from 123’ (37 meters) to 155’ (47 meters). Three of these projects are being built on spec. Five vessels are contracted. There will be three additional launches in 2004.
