  1. New Launch: Heesen 47-meter "Mon Plaisir"

A few weeks earlier then scheduled, the Heesen Yachts organization welcomed to Oss the Owners to launch the motor yacht “Mon Plaisir”. With a length of 47m this is the second displacement vessel of this size recently built at Heesen. With steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the vessel reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knot confirmed by the sea trials successfully carried out in the North sea. Once onboard any guest is immediately surprised by the

volume of the interior areas and the immense external deck space, this makes hard to be convinced that this vessel has been designed with a gross tonnage of less than 500 ton. Omega Architects was appointed as interior designer as well as for the concept and styling. It is impossible not to notice the open main staircase highlighted by a decorative column from lower to sun deck decorated with crocodile leather and ending up in a glass skylight on sun deck.

This staircase layout allows a non conventional layout of the four guest cabins on lower deck, with two full beam VIP cabins fore and aft and two twin guest cabins in the middle of this area. Master cabin is located on main deck forward. The same staircase ends up directly in the Sky Lounge which again is positively impressing any guest for its dimension. The interior style can be defined as a “sober art deco”, the classic deco character of the furnitures built in contrast tones (light and dark wood) is harmoniously interrupted with stainless steel details on vertical interior elements. Stitched light leather wall panels are often framing the metal hardware of doors and cabinets.

This is the third 47m displacement vessel recently built at Heesen Yachts and at the moment other four displacement vessels of the same size are listed in the shipyard order book as announced by Fabio Ermetto, Commercial Director.
