New Launch: Fincanteri 140M superyacht Project 'Victory'

140-meter superyacht Project 'Victory' launches from Fincantieri​

After the wide interest created by Fincantieri's first yacht, "Serene", it would be understandable that the second yacht, a lot larger, would cause a stir in the industry. The bated breath has now been released with the launching of Fincantieri's second superyacht, the 140-meter Project 'Victory'. The contract for this gigantic superyacht was signed back in late 2009 with construction starting nearly in the last quarter of 2010.

Fast forward to the present time in April 2014, the drawings, models and renderings are now realized with the launching of the real superyacht. The yacht sprawls across seven decks. Hull 6218 has a floodable dock, large enough to host her nearly 15-meter main tender. Based on a new, unique concept which is the brainchild of the Monaco based naval design architect Espen Oeino and the Paris based interior designer Alberto Pinto, the project “Victory” has been developed by the Fincantieri Yachts team - the unit specifically devoted to this business area within the Fincantieri Group - to meet the requirements of the owner in full.

Hull 6218 is taking advantage of her large size and offering 6 pools of up to 8 meters in length. It is expected that Project Victory will be delivered to her owner coming on to the end of this year and when that happens she will take up the number 9 spot of largest yachts in the world.
