New Launch: Columbus 54M "Prima" megayacht

Columbus 54-meter megayacht "Prima"​

"Prima" is the final name given to the 54-meter mega yacht that was under construction at the Palumbo shipyard for Columbus Yachts. Otherwise known as the Columbus 177, Prima is out in the open now on the verge of launching to the water in the next few days.

The displacement yacht was built with a steel hull and light alloy superstructure. Her overall beam is a spacious 10.20-meters aiding in the total feeling of expanse through out the yacht. The interior was fashioned by Studio Spadolini while the exterior design styling was the work of Hydro Tec. They also worked with the Naval Architecture.

Prima carries dual MTU 16V 4000 M60 engines. Top speed from the engine package is expected to be 18 knots with cruising two knots slower. The range for Prima is set at approximately 5,000 nautical miles with just under 120,000 LT of fuel in her tanks.

On the inside, she accommodates up to 14 guests in a Master Stateroom, VIP-type stateroom, two doubles, two twins and two pullman berths. A crew of 13 will serve guests and the day-to-day functions of Prima. Prima is expected to be launched this coming Monday.
