    Hi all,

My name is Michael and I am from Albany, NY. This morning, someone posted a picture on Twitter about a very large boat in the area. I pulled up the pic they posted and some background, and found it to be the 'Lady Christine'. What a magnificent boat. I have always liked boats, but this thing is amazing. I can't figure out why it is in this area, but I posted a few pics in another thread.

Last year I made my first run up to Troy. Now granted Lady Christine is a bit big for the run up the Hudson, but who can blame her. It's a beautiful cruise (although even nicer in Fall). Welcome to YF.

Thanks NYCAP. I would imagine it is a beautiful trip, but throw in fall and it must be stunning!

    Welcome aboard!

The cruise up the Hudson is an amazing trip. Going past West Point is always my favorite part. Anyone thinking of heading up the Hudson should know that the Dockmaster in Troy is one of the nicest around.

Yes he is. I stopped in there on a weekend day and he found someone (larger guy) to help lower our radar arch and masthead in short notice and was really helpful......

I thought the hudson was nice, but the Erie Canal was far far nicer and more scenic and you were closer to the countryside......
