Hi guys, i watch ur treath a long while, but now i can say i got some news for you! :)

I live in northern Germany, next to a town called Itzehoe. Here's a little river called stoer, an at this river is a shipyard from "peterswerft". They're building a 130m Yacht for a arabic billionaire. Its a order by "Kusch Yacht Bau". I can't get pictures of it because it is build inside a large hall. Also they're refitting a old fish-research-ship to a yacht. Its called "Solea".

*edit* the dimensions where thoose of the new "solea", did't found the old yet

the gigayacht should be ready to lauch at 2007. I hope somebody knows more than be, because thats a very long time to go...
maybe i will get pictures of its launch.

Hey Brunick! Thanks for the news!

If you can, have a camera handy if you are near by - sometimes they hace no choice but to open the doors!

Anyone else know anything on these yachts? Could it be a new Oceanco yacht?

The fact that they are building this Kusch project is not a secret, only the yacht itself. We just have to wait and see, same as the owner! :)

I did a search but had no luck finding a web site for the Kusch Yacht office.

Since the founder Claus Kusch passed away in December last year, I am not sure if the Kusch Yacht Agentur is operating as usual or with some changes.

    Interesting Hufloas!

She should carry a seaplane in a garage they say, wasn´t it Golden Shadow who had this at first too? Anyway, five minutes with a ballpen or half an hour in photoshop and she should look good... ;)

Sheesh! [shudders!] If you were to buy a 130m superyacht, wouldnt you want a better looking sea plane than that!

Just for Info to AMG. KYA and KYB are still runned by Annegret Kusch in company with Dr. Harald Jenssen. Most of the Stuff had changed, but they are still doing a good Job on the Newbuilt.

you can have an impression on www.kusch-yacht.de ..

these container ships are 130m in length and build also at "peters ag"
they're building a lot of these - this one is a bit older and here for some scheduled work.
on the news page of peter-ag are some news about these container ships - but they're only on german i think...
