  1. Sparkman & Stephens introduces 75-meter 3-masted schooner

The design firm of Sparkman & Stephens have introduced a design for a 75-meter long three-masted Bermuda-rigged schooner. In an effort to provide potential owners with a luxury sailing yacht that has the ability to be sailed with all the ease of smaller and less complex yachts, the S&S 75-meter schooner was designed. New and current technology has made handling of even the largest sailing yachts times easier with the need for less deck-hands and so this is the concept for this design.

The design features a flag blue hull, white superstructure and white masts and booms. Computer controlled sails eases the handling with the main in-boom sails furl with ease, unlike the 'man labor intensive' hoisting. On the inside, the design is set to be sumptuous with comfortable living for all.

She carries 5 guest staterooms with the ability to house 10 guests. A large master stateroom awaits the potential owner and is situated aft. All the trappings that is expected with a master stateroom are there, inclusive of his and hers bathrooms, separate dressing areas, study and so on.

Tenders are hosted in the canoe lazarette and on the aft flying bridge. The yacht's long and spacious decks allow for alternative dining, lounging, and other forms of relaxation to be had with ease. Traversing the decks will also be easier without fear of tripping over too much of the sailing paraphernalia.
