New Design: MondoMarine 45M "Blade" megayacht

MondoMarine; Francesco Paszkowski collaborate on 45M megayacht design "Blade"​

Another new project coming out of the annual meeting at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is the 45-meter "Blade". Blade is a new design that is the result of a collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski and MondoMarine. The vessel, if sold, is to be built in light alloy for both the hull and superstructure.

A pair of MTU 16V 2000 M94 are expected to power Blade's hull through the water. In fact her hull has been refined and boasts super efficiency, 20-percent greater efficiency if you compare to other semi-displacement hull forms. Her high cruising speed is in the region of 20-knots and a range of 3,400-nautical miles at 12-knots have been calculated.

Blade is RINA registered :C HULL • MACH Ych (EFP) COMF (Y). Naval Architecture is by Arrabito and MondoMarine's engineering department while the exterior styling is by Francesco Paszkowski. The interior designer has not been named as yet.
