  1. ISA Yachts 390 Trideck Motoryacht
    Forward Emotion!

    by Kevin Heistermann

International Shipyard Ancona (ISA) is again expanding it's line of semi-custom yachts with their latest offering - the ISA 390 - a 39 meter (128 foot), steel/aluminum displacement yacht designed by Andrea Vallicelli, and featuring an interior designed by Studio Massari. Immediately catching your attention is how fast the 390 looks, even at a stand still. Smooth, but aggressive lines coupled with glass that seemingly wraps around the decks in a continuous sweep, as well as a sharply raked transom, all contribute to lending the 390 an air of perpetual forward motion.
  2. A luxurious Owner's Suite is found on the main deck, forward of the salon and features an exceptionally spacious bathroom that includes a Jacuzzi, as well as a full walk-in closet, and an office. The lower deck of the 390 can be configured with either 3 or 4 guest suites, depending on the layout chosen by the buyer. The 3 cabin layout gives up guest space in favor of a large gym & sauna, while the various 4 cabin layouts offer three double cabins and one twin cabin - each with it's own ensuite bathroom. Also on this lower deck you'll find the crew quarters and the crew mess. And finally, forward of the salon on the upper deck is the Captain's Room adjoining the wheelhouse.
  3. Not to be outdone, the stern of the ISA 390 offers something unique to yachts this size - a private beachclub! Yes, behind the large, full-length windows at the stern you'll find not only find a tender garage - with room for a RIB and two PWCs - but, once the watercraft are removed, you have very own beach at water level, complete with a sauna. The beach house like amenities don't end there though: above it all, and out in the open, you'll find the sundeck of the 390 divided into three sections: a large Jacuzzi and spacious sunbathing area aft, a dining area in the shade of the radar mast, and a lounge area forward with a sweeping, panoramic view over the bow.
  4. Further inside the 390 you'll find two salons - one on the main deck, and one on the upper deck. The main salon features an enclosed lounge area aft, and a large dining area forward, while the upper salon is reversed with the expansive lounge area forward and an exterior dining area aft, beneath the sun deck... perfect for dining al fresco even when the Mediterranean sun is urging you to stay in the shade.
  5. Looking aft across the dining area on the main deck, an expanse of the sea awaits. Wood floors, light colors and comfy sun chases in the salon all contribute to a beach house effect. ISA has quickly become recognized in the world market for building exceptionally stylish yachts, but their interior work has elevated them to world class status.
  6. The ISA 390 will be powered by twin CAT C32 diesels each producing 970 kW at 1800 rpm, and capable of pushing her through the water at a maximum speed of 15 knots. At her cruise speed of 13 knots, the 59,000 liter fuel capacity will give the 390 a range of 2900 nautical miles.
