  1. Barracuda unveils 50-meter superyacht design at the Monaco Yacht Show

Barracuda Yacht Design used the 2013 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) to unveil one of their new designs to the world. The design is on a 50-meter platform and blends elegant yet simple lines. The Barracuda 50-meter spreads over four decks where practical layout solutions have been devised by IƱigo Toledo -one of the designers from BYD-.

The plan was allowed to give guests four cabins. Interesting to note is the location of the guest cabins. Normally, they are set midships on the lower deck but this time the forward main deck is home to the four guest suites. They are all equal in proportion and all have ensuite bathrooms. The owner gets their own space on the deck above, offering privacy and its own aft deck.

For a 50-meter yacht plenty of space as been dedicated to 'outdoor living'. The Aft decks feature plenty room with the exception of the upper aft deck, -the owner's area-. Aft deck under the huge deck overhang boasts sofa-style seating all around a central table. The action is never far with a drink in hand. On the opposite end, there is a Jacuzzi on the sun deck and ample seating. If built, this yacht would be an ideal charter yacht with proportionate guest staterooms, expansive beach club, vast open areas and with a simple and practical interior layout.
