  1. Heysea Yachts sign contract for 50-meter superyacht

China based yacht company Heysea Yachts recently signed contract for a 50-meter superyacht. The Naval Architecture and Exterior design is the work of the in-house team at the yard while the interior will be finalized to design by an Italian firm. The Heysea 50-meter superyacht rises over three internal guest decks and an open-air sundeck. One of the striking features on the design is bow. The simplicity of the straight bow, a feature gaining popularity in superyacht design.
  2. The sundeck tends to be one of the more utilized decks on a superyacht and on the Heysea 50-meter it should not be less of the case. The main feature on this deck is of course the large jacuzzi situated to the fore, surrounded by sunpads on either side. The mid section of the deck is well-shaded thanks to the hardtop incorporated into the design. The aft section of the deck is open and can be lined with outdoor loungers and accessories. The main saloon on the aft main deck is spacious and is afforded clear views to the outside thanks to folding bulwarks on the outside decks.

The Heysea 50-meter has a beam of just under 30-feet, 9-meters. The draft is 2.70-meter meters when close to being loaded. The yacht is expected to be built in steel and fiberglass, steel hull and fiberglass superstructure. She will be carry dual CAT C32 ACERT 1,450 Horse Power engines. Top speed should be around 16-knots and cruising 12-knots giving an impressive 5,000 nautical mile range. Expect the Heysea 50-meter superyacht to be launched in 2016.
