Benetti Sail Division contracted to build new BSD 105RS motoryacht​

Benetti Sail Division (BSD) has a new contract for the construction of a BSD 105RS. Construction will see the maturation of a modern classic that will serve to be the owner's 'second-home'. She is to be built in steel and aluminum giving her the right strength and balance expected in a modern luxury yacht.

Construction is being done in Viareggio, Italy in a scheduled time-frame with delivery set for the Spring of 2014. She will carry twin 1,000 HP engines that are to push her along at a leisurely 14-knots. Being built to RINA standards, the new BSD 105RS will have the ability to trot along at a 10-knots speed and conserve a 3,000 nautical-mile range.
