    Tony Castro designs a 45-meter ketch-rigged sailyacht

Tony Castro Design is a design firm based in Southampton, England. The design office is located in Hamble Southampton and the designer, Tony Castro, works on many styles for yachts. One that is interesting is a 45-meter Ketch concept.

The Ketch concept highlights itself among the other ketch designs out there because of two main features. The subtly angular overall profile connotes an aggressive aura while the raised pilot house adds more meaning to the overall design.

The Sun-Deck in the design features a jacuzzi placed at the base of the mizzen mast. This leaves the rest of the deck for sunpads and seating regions. Down on the Main-Deck it can be imagined there would be a large saloon with formal dining capability.

To the fore of the main mast, the fore deck appears to be uncluttered. Hatches cover a tender and pwc's. The overall external appearance of the Tony Castro concept is appealing. She creates a subtle masculine appeal with her black paint job and angular surfaces.
