New Concept: Newcruise 72M superyacht

Newcuise 72-meter superyacht design​

A new design emerges from Newcruise Designs showcasing a 72-meter explorer-type superyacht. The concept's displacement is dialed in at just under 1,900 tonnes with a cruising range of approximately 7,000 nautical miles solidifying her -in part- as a world cruiser.

As many as twelve guests can be slept comfortably in three guest doubles, two VIPs and a capacious master and enough for the crew of eighteen. Emphasis on the exterior relaxation and social spaces can be easily seen with the built-in comfy seating and the meticulous design of the largest superyacht pool.

Of course being an expedition/explorer yacht, it is expected that she would be able to travel the world's oceans with less problems than the usual. The pool on the aft deck is certainly the highlight with its freeform design and variable depths throughout making it usable for various age groups. The end of the pool is the deepest and terminates with a glassed in edge over the transom.

The concept design maybe sightly reminiscent of another yacht that Newcruise worked on. Having worked on the 115-meter "Luna", the design isn't a spin-off in inspiration but in reality very practical. On the interior, warm tones exist with the use of woods contrasted against prized fabrics such as wool and cashmere round out the multi-textured interior.

Interestingly, that aft deck that features the extremely large pool can be easily swaped out by way of a genius modular system. The modules are stored in the standard 40-foot container. In essence, it allows the aft deck to move from serene pool side to heli-pad to utility storage truly making the Newcruise 72-meter a multi-dimensional explorer yacht.
